About Regatta Outfitters

Regatta Outfitters was formed in 1996 in Colorado. I grew up sailing in New England and was fortunate enough to live on the Chesapeake Bay and in Bermuda while with the navy before settling in Colorado.

Shortly after arriving in the Rocky Mountains, I found myself sailing out of the Dillon Yacht Club at 9017 feet. Needless to say it was quite a change from the warm, steady breezes of Bermuda. We had a tough time finding a good assortment of awards that were made specifically for sailing and a business was born.
